Club Championship

The Club Championship Tournament consists of a best two out of three rounds played in the month of March on consecutive Wednesdays, the categories of competition are Low Gross (scratch) and Low Net.  The Club Championship, (Low Gross) competition is open to all members of the Club.  The Low Net competition is open to all members who have played at least five rounds with the club and have an established club handicap.  There is one overall Low Gross champion and will be crowned as the Club Champion until completion the next Championship Tournament.  There will be Low Net scoring awards in each flight for first, second and third place Low Net scoring winners.  Depending on the number of participants there will be three or more flights for Low Net competition.

Members do not have to sign up for the Club Championship, participation is automatic with membership.  The pairings for the duration of the tournament will be arranged by a combination of club handicaps and scoring from prior rounds.  During the tournament, regular weekly play for Sweeps and KP will continue separately and simultaneously with no impact on each other.  To be eligible for participation in the tournament you must play complete rounds in two of the three days during the tournament to be eligible for the Club Championship or Low Net competition.  The Club Champion (Low Gross) winner will not be eligible for Low Net competition.
